Connecting Social Accounts
The first step in getting started with Socialverse is to connect your networks. The number of social accounts you can connect to depends on your subscription plan.
Log into the channel you'd like to connect. For example, if you're connecting your Twitter profile, start by logging into that profile at https://twitter.com.
Click on your profile avatar at the top right of your dashboard and then click Connected Accounts from the drop-down menu.

Click on the type of account you'd like to connect to. (If you already have social accounts connected, click Connect Social Account and then click the channel you'd like to connect.)

The remaining steps are different for each social platform. For Twitter and Mastodon profiles you should just need to authorize Comity to access your account and you should be all set. For Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram, you will be asked to choose a page or group.
Currently, You can connect the following types of social accounts:
- Facebook: Pages & Groups*
- Instagram: Business Accounts**
- Twitter: Profiles
- Linkedin: Profiles & Company Pages*
- Mastodon: Profiles (from any Mastodon instance)
- admin privileges required for the page or group ** Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook page
You are now ready to schedule your first post 🥳
Instagram​
Socialverse only supports Instagram business accounts that are linked to Facebook Pages. This is a requirement of the Instagram platform.

Connecting Instagram to Socialverse​
Log into Facebook first.
Click on your profile avatar at the top right of your dashboard and then click Connected Accounts from the drop-down menu.
Click on Instagram. (If you already have social accounts connected, click Connect Social Account and then click the channel you'd like to connect.)
Next, you will authorize Socialverse for your Facebook account if you have not done so. Do not change any settings and click approve.
Click on the Instagram account you'd like to connect to and click Add to Socialverse.
How to Determine the Type of Instagram Account You Have​
Are you unsure about the type of Instagram account you have? Go to Settings in the Instagram app on your mobile device. Tap Account from there.
Depending on your current account type, the following will appear at the bottom of the list of options:
If you currently have an Instagram personal profile, you'll see one option:
Switch to a Professional account
If you currently have an Instagram business account, you'll see these two options:
Switch to Personal account Switch to Creator Account
If you currently have an Instagram creator account, you'll see these two options:
Switch to Personal account Switch to Business Account
If the profile is a personal or creator account, it must be changed to a business account.
