Create a Deal
Adding an offer to Hotdeals is simple. We created a streamlined way for you to promote your discounts based on eCommerce company trends.
To add an offer, go to the "Offers" tab and click "Add Deal."

To begin, upload or choose a promotional image for your offer. Customers are more likely to pay attention to your deals if you use images. You can, however, create and offer without using an image.
Add a "title" and a "description" of your choice for this offer.
You can use the description field to explain how customers can take advantage of the offer or simply to add value to it.
We also recommend using the time notice field to add a sense of urgency, which will increase conversions.

Finally, tell users how they can claim this offer. The most common way for users to claim offers are using coupon codes, however this is not the only way.
You can use links that apply the discount to the cart automatically, or your store may have a way to apply a discount when a certain number of items are added to the cart. Tell users how they can take advantage of this offer.

Finally, you must include a link that will either apply the discount to the cart or direct visitors to the page where this deal is located.

Scheduling Deals
By specifying a start and end date, you can automate the publishing of offers.
When creating the offer, use the date fields at the bottom to choose the start and expiration dates.
Based on these dates, Hotdeals will automatically activate your offer.
Changing Timezone
By default, your timezone is set to the time on your computer. You can update it in the account menu under "Configure > Workspace"
Reordering
You have the ability to change the order in which your offers appear in Offerbox.
In the settings, offers are listed chronologically, and this is the order in which they will appear. To rearrange them, use the options in the overflow menu (available on all devices) to move them up and down.
Alternatively, you can rearrange the offers by dragging and dropping them. Please keep in mind that drag and drop only works on desktop computers.
Hide/Remove
You can remove an offer anytime. There are two ways of removing an offer:
- Hide the offer temporarily
- Delete the offer permanently
How to hide an offer
To temporarily hide an offer, go to settings and click on the switch icon next to the offer.
How to delete an offer
To permanently delete an offer, go to settings and click on the menu icon next to the offer.
